Goose/Duck Shooting:
Montrose Basin is an area of mudflats that covers approx 800 hectares. Part of the area permits wildfowling on a permit system. The rest is a protected reserve area established may years ago with the co-operation of BASC and local wildfowling interests. The Montrose basin can hold upwards of 50-70 thousand pinkfooted geese at any one time. The peak numbers are October to early November. The rest of the winter numbers can fluctuate. Every morning the geese depart the mudflats and head out to feed on local farmlands. September, October and November feeding is mostly carried out on stubbles and potato stubbles. From late November onwards grassland and winter cereals become a target for the geese to feed on. Angus Game Plus covers a vast area of the North/South of Scotland. Where the geese are we are. On our 3 day shooting breaks you could be North, South, East or West where ever is best. Angus Game Plus will do our best to provide a break to remember.
Duck Shooting:
Duck shooting is mostly carried on fed flight ponds leased by Angus Game Plus. We also use local sporting estates if necessary. With both geese and ducks being wild birds every effort is made to get our clients the best of shooting available.
Game Shooting:
Angus Game Plus is located in an area where game shooting is rich in variety. From walked up mixed bags to high quality driven birds, grouse, white hares etc are available. The estates in Scotland produce some of the best game bird shooting in the world, produced by professional dedicated gamekeepers and management systems.
Pigeon Shooting:
During the following prime shooting times, February to May spring sowings. Late July to September harvest time pigeons are shot over various crops. You could be sitting in a hide decoying, this method of pigeon shooting is very fast and exciting or standing in mature trees shooting pigeons as they come into roost. Like other forms of bird shooting weather can play a big part on success, wind being the main factor which keeps the pigeons moving thus enhancing your enjoyment of the day.
Stalking:
All forms of deer stalking can be supplied by Angus Game Plus. You will either be on our own shooting grounds or on other sporting estates. Scotland provides some of the most exciting stalking from lowlands to highlands whatever your preference. At Angus Game Plus we will do our best to meet your needs.
Guides/Equipment:
All equipment ie. decoys, hides, poles, nets etc is supplied by Angus Game Plus to our clients, and included in the price. All our guides are fully experienced in as aspects of field sports.

Shooters/hunters are required to have third party liability insurance. Shooters/hunters must have gun permits or/UK visitor permits whilst shooting and hunting with Angus Game Plus Ltd. We can arrange UK visitor permits if required.

Angus Game Plus Ltd will not be held responsible/liable to any damage to guns/equipment and accidents on the shooting field. Any damage caused by clients is payable by that client/party of shooters/hunters.
